UCLA Boston Day at Fenway

Saturday, August 24th

Game -- 1:15pm
Buffet -- 11:30am
Tour -- 9:00am

The officers of the UCLA Club of Boston have been trying to organize an event that is unique to our city, and what could be more Bostonian than the Red Sox? With the help of Hollywood executive and new Red Sox co-owner Tom Werner, we have put together an exclusive Day at Fency on August 24th.

The day begins with a private tour of Fenway, followed by a scrumptuous buffet meal in the Fenmore Room, topped off with a game between the Anaheim Angels and Boston Red Sox from our infield grandstand seats.

Tickets for the entire package are $80. A portion of the proceeds will go to replenish our Scholarship funds.

Tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

To sign up for Day at Fenway, please send checks payable to:

Pac-10 Beach Happy Hour

Thursday, August 15th
7 - 9pm
The Joshua Tree, Davis Square in Sommerville
256 Elm Street
(617) 623-9910

ASU will host the next edition of the monthly Pac-10 Happy Hour at the Joshua Tree in Somerville's Davis Square. The bar is located just steps from the Davis stop on the Red Line, which is two stops past Harvard, or one stop in from Alewife.

It is also easily accessed by car - from Mass Ave, take a right on Day Street (or a left if coming from Arlington/Route 2 - there is a White Hen on the corner) into Davis Square and then right on Elm. The bar is on the right, and there is plenty of metered parking or municipal lots in the area. The bar is similar to Grafton Street (site of last month's event) and has decent food.
