 A new season will begin shortly.  We are looking to9 schedule three games this year:

April 21st - Patriots Day - 11am start
May 18th - vs. Angels - All UC event
TBD - Game to raise funds for Scholarship

2.      PAC10 Pub Night 
February 11 - TBD
March 13 - TBD - will be tied to March Madness

We gather every month with fellow PAC10 Schools
January 2003 through June 2003

3.      UCLA Basketball Games

02/01   UCLA vs Oregon State, 10:30pm- Watch the game at Sports Grille Boston

02/08    UCLA vs. Georgetown - Road Trip with 270 other Bruins from NYC and DC

02/08    UCLA vs. Georgetown - Watch the game at Sports Grille Boston

March  UCLA vs. ??? PAC10 tourney - March Madness??? - NIT - Come out to cheer for the Bruins

We gather to watch all Bruins games at Sports Grille Boston.   Larger crowds gather for the weekend games.

4.      Cultural Events

2/1    Wine Expo Boston - 1pm to 5pm
Come enjoy one of the largest Wine Expo's in the US!

2/13  Private Tour of Current Special Exhibit at MFA (details to be announced)

5.      All UC Social Event - May 20th
This event is hosted by the UC Regents.  Stay tuned for more information - posted here as soon as it is available

Come join your fellow Bruins in Boston for a fun day at Fenway.

Plans are underway to acquire a block of tickets for the following games:

May 18th - vs. World Series Champs - Angels - 1pm start

2.   PAC10 Pub Night

After a very successful gathering at Boston Beer Works - we collected over 60 toys that were donated to Toys for Tots - and a chance to rest from a busy holiday season - Your favorite all PAC10 event is coming back in full force starting in February!

March 13th - TBD - ASU is Hosting

April ?? - TBD - USC or UCLA will host

Come network and/or enjoy a social evening with fellow PAC10 Alumni at the monthly PAC10 Pub Night.

3.   UCLA Men's Basketball

2/8 ROAD TRIP TO GEORGETOWN
Saturday, February 8th, 1:00 pm
  (We are SOLD OUT)

We're planning another road trip!  We're heading to Georgetown for the Saturday, February 8th game to watch our basketball team take on Georgetown (1:00pm at the MCI Center).  

- A Friday night function has been planned with guest speaker - UCLA Athletic Director - Dan Guerrero
- Pre game party to be annnounced
- Post Game Party arranged at Fado's - see below
- Bruins traveling to the game will be staying at the Westin Grand.

POST GAME PARTY
The UCLA Club of Washington D.C. invites you to come out and mingle with
fellow Bruins from Boston, New York, Washington and all other parts of the
East Coast who will be in D.C. for the Georgetown game, for a post-game
happy hour, following the game on February 8, 2003.

So join us after the game and either celebrate a Bruin win or drown your
hoops sorrows over munchies and good brews and get nostalgic about
Westwood, beaches, sun and 74 degree winters.  Details:

When: February 8, 2003 starting at 4:00 pm after the game
(The game is scheduled to tip off around 1:00 pm EST and should be over
around 3:30pm EST.)

Game Watching Parties

We gather at Sports Grille Boston to watch all UCLA Hoops Games.

Where:  Sports Grille Boston (132 Canal Street by the Fleet Center)

What:   Friendly atmosphere, great food (bring a huge appetite as portions are huge) and over 100 televisions.

When:  Larger crowds are expected for the following Marquee match ups!

We are still working out the details... but we anticipate arranging for a group tour of an exhibit of the MFA.

Details are being finalized over the next few months.  Save the date for an all UC Social event that will be attended by Current and Prior Year UCLA Alumni Association Presidents, and other prominent UC leaders.
